Spent a lot of time last week producing bass lines and getting to grips with various synths and vst instruments. Can prove to be more time consuming when you have something in mind that you want to hear! Side Chaining with folders and groups instead of busses has gone from the experimental stage, to being the main frame for producing most tracks. Really happy with the way the last few tracks have sounded after the mix down, especially with the sub bass and low frequencies.
I file my remastered tracks by month and year they were produced. Looking over the last few months I realised I hadn't produced many tracks(or at least as many as usual), which is why I had to book the week off work and get it out of my system!
Many of the tracks have been uploaded to Soundcloud with 'Free download' enabled. The main reason for this is to get easy and fairly instant feedback on the best tunes before releasing them to the website, at which point many of the tracks are removed from Soundcloud to make way for new ones! Taking on board any feedback I may have had from Facebook or Soundcloud itself.
Hoping to upgrade and expand on the website in the not too distant future, focusing on feedback, comments and ratings for each track, but for now Soundcloud works well as the middle man!
Please check out some of the tunes that have been uploaded to Soundcloud recently, especially this one "FILTH" if you're into Drum and Bass!!
